Bryan Dais Profile
Bryan was born and raised in the small country town of Fielding, NZ .It was here he had his first introduction to the racing industry as a school boy working in the stables before and after school and any other spare time he had. It wasn’t long before he knew that this was going to be his career path.
Bryan has had an extensive grounding in all aspects of the thoroughbred industry working on stud farms , Racing stables and spending time in Japan on a pretraining and breaking in farm. He spent 5 years working for the leading NZ trainers Dave and Paul O’Sullivan and it was here his passion grew working with horses like Horlicks, Surfers Paradise, Mr Tiz and an endless stream of group 1 horses that came through the champion trainers stable during his time there.
Most recently Bryan was foreman for Robert Heathcote at Eagle Farm for about 5 years. It has been with Rob’s support and encouragement that has seen Bryan start to establish his stable over the past 2 seasons.
Bryan has his own stables close to Eagle Farm racecourse in Hendra and can cater for up to 12 horses which enables him to give each horse the individual attention they need and he prides himself on attention to detail.
Bryan is very focused on communicating with his owners and involving them in all aspects of the horse racing experience , including visiting the stables and attending trackwork.
